You might be thinking, “Hey, I’ll have to get an app to install Slack, right?”
But in some ways, it’s a little more than that.
You can now create a Slack account on any mobile platform with just a few taps.
And the app will be compatible with any Slack client.
“Slack has always been the go-to app for people who want to collaborate with their team, but for many of us, Slack has become our way to get things done,” Slack cofounder and CEO Janus Friis said in a statement.
“We’ve seen a lot of people create a private Slack account and we think we’ve created a great way for them to connect with their colleagues.”
And now, for the first time, you can get the same experience on a mobile device.
If you have a Slack client, you’ll see an invite in the upper right corner.
When you click on that, the app pops up on your device and lets you sign in.
The app is currently available on Android, but you can also download it for iOS.
It works with Slack accounts created on the web and on mobile, too.
So, you have your own personal account, but if you have an email address, it automatically generates an email for you.
And it also automatically creates a new Slack message for you to read and respond to.
You also can customize the message to be personalized to your needs, such as your company name.
And that personalized email will be automatically sent to your inbox when you log in.
But you can use this feature to do a lot more than simply log in with your phone number.
It also makes it easier for people to create and manage Slack groups.
You could create a group that has people who are more tech savvy, or a group of people who can use the same app to share information.
And you could also create groups of friends and family that have access to Slack as well.
“With Slack, it becomes easy to build a professional Slack team,” Friis added.
And there’s no reason why you couldn’t use this to organize your work or make new friends.
You don’t need to install any third-party apps.
And once you’re signed in, you don’t even need to sign out.
There’s no login screen, so you can create a password that you don`t have to remember anymore.
And if you need to, you could even use this for email management.
“It makes it a little bit easier to use,” Frias said.
And with so many apps out there, it doesn’t take long to find something that’s worth your time.
If all of this doesn’t convince you, there’s one more benefit to using Slack for business: You can collaborate across multiple platforms.
“By enabling collaboration across your devices, Slack allows for seamless collaboration across all your teams across devices,” Fries added.
That’s a great feature for any organization that wants to make the most of its technology and productivity.
