Apple is rolling out a new version of its streaming video service called Roku Remote that will include the ability to control your home’s television set.
Apple’s Roku Remote app for iOS and Android will support a new, more robust Roku remote control app that can be used to control Roku’s latest streaming video devices like the Roku 4, Roku Premiere, Roku Player, Roku Streaming Stick and Roku Streaming TV.
Roku Remote 4 users will be able to use the app to set up the Roku Remote in addition to the standard remote controls on the TV and other devices, such as smartphones and tablets.
Apple has also released a new Roku remote controller app for Android devices.
The new app lets users control their Roku Remote using the touchpad on the remote controller and the standard Roku remote controls.
Roku remote controllers will also work with the Roku Streaming app, the Roku 3, Roku 2, Roku 1 and Roku 4 streaming video players.
Roku Remote 4 is currently available in the Apple App Store for free.
